If I Could, I Would...

Lust-Have #4
Sorel Plaid Boots $95

In case you didn't know, I live in a varying climate. A climate where, come December, having a solid pair of winter boots is beyond essential. Toronto is known for its extreme weather - bone-chillingly cold in winter, hot like soup in summer (though not this year. Am still in mourning...). Even though it pains me greatly to be highlighting such a cold weather item when I am still hoping for a mid-autumn heat wave, I feel these booties are way too cute to keep to myself. I saw them on Piperlime and am now obsessed. These super rad boots are totally waterproof and warm to -50 celsius (-58 fahrenheit). And, who can resist the plaid? I mean, really! It doesn't get more Northern than these babies. So, I say, if we must endure the cold (wah!), we should do it in style.
And, as always, by we, I mean you!
Love, P

HI there:
I have a pair of high top Sorel's by that I mean to the Knee... and they are extremely warm for our (BLAH and drearily COLD) winter's ... I agree with you 100% there, that you could wear Sorel's in -40 degree weather and your feet will not suffer any frostbite...

I know!!! I am, basically, obsessed! Did you see the post "Essay Question or Multiple Choice"? If it wasn't for Sorel's (and hockey, but that's another story), I wouldn't make it through the longest season in the world!!!!
Love, P
