I don't know about your neck of the woods, but in these parts it has been cold, snowy and grey, grey, grey! It's no wonder all I want to do is watch movies in my jams and eat copious amounts of soup, stew, chili and ice cream! Desperate for a dose of colour, I dove in to my dressing room - yes, my closet is a room, but that is another post for another day - and decided it was time to reorganize the biggest part of my wardrobe: my rolling rack.
Generally, if you have an organised closet, things are hanging either by style or by colour. I had been working with a style-hanging closet since early Autumn, so I thought I'd do the switch up to the clolour-hanging version. Already, it feels brighter in my dressing room and I suspect the mercury may even be slowly rising.
It's one small step for a non-shopping shopaholic, but a giant leap for my state of mind!
Before...
...and after!
Love, P

I am a freak for organization. A serious freak.
And when I feel the urge to do something, but I am not sure what, I either turn to cleaning, or organizing
It always ends up being the latter -- organizing my wardrobe.. :)
Ah... one of the tribe! Cleaning is definitely not my thing, but organizing... well, it's one of my happy places!

Amen- cleaning? No, thanks. Organizing? BLISS! You have inspired me to tackle the scary mess that is my closet.
Well, you and the fact that, while hanging up my clothes after work today, I "found" a top that would have worked MUCH better with my outfit than the one I wore. I had forgotten all about it! Time to reorganize-- when you can't find what you already own, you are in trouble! :) Thanks for the kick in the pants!
YYZ~ Thanks for this - your comment made me laugh out loud! P.S. Love your site!
