Shopping Reverie

I had a dream last night that involved the "s" word. I dreamed I was shopping in a beautiful Bahamian boutique full of diamonds, pearls, and so many pretty little things, when I came upon two brightly colored lustrous snakeskin clutches. The only decision that seemed important to me at the time was whether or not I should purchase the purple or the pink one. Although I loved each of them individually, I knew it would be deemed as excessive to buy both. I remember pulling out my credit card and handing it to the enchantingly persuasive salesperson (who I am pretty sure was wearing a gold crown and bore a striking resemblance to Daryl Hannah in Splash) and said, "I will take the pink one." It felt amazing. I was floating. Literally.

I woke this morning as if it was any other Monday but was then was struck with sudden fear. Did I commit this shopping crime? Did I ruin seven months of commitment over one pretty clutch? How would I tell P? Or was it really only a dream? (an adulterous one at that, except the star of the dream was not Brad Pitt, it was a handbag...weird) Anyway, what was I going to do?

My panic subsided after a quick sweep of my room proved that in fact I did not buy anything new and I was still the shopless wonder I yearned to be. Hallelujah. I was safe this time.

Was it really only a dream?

Your whole web page is full of advertising and your blogs have pictures of items with the price and where you can buy them. I think you must be sponsored by these companies and this blog is really just an advertisement for all these products.

We are not sponsored by anyone yet. But if you know of anyone who might be interested, let us know! That would be exciting!
