SuperSaver

After reading the last post by the lovely and talented Miss A, I realised something; she had a dress in her closet that she thought "required too much effort" and I have more than one item in my wardrobe in "save mode". Save Mode is when you buy something that you love so much that it ends up... just hanging in your closet.

Bet that's not what you thought I would say. But, for me anyway, it's the truth. (I am guessing that this maladie is a near cousin to One Wear Wonder-itis.) It's like I fall so deeply in love wih the dress/jacket/boots that I put unrealistic expectations on it (and, by extension, me).

The shoes in this picture are an example of something in Save Mode. I love them and have had them for three or four years. I am wearing them for the second time in this photo.
Though suddenly I realise where my love for Meryl Streep as Julia Child's pumps comes from (Tasty Two-Tone Pumps)!

So, I resolve to pull these amazing pieces out of my closet and into the January light!
Even if I have to create an entire event to do them justice.

Love, P

Mmm... I love the shoes too. Must remember them when the mercury begins to rise. Maybe I should invest in a proper camera so I can make a reminder catalogue?

I can think of at least two dresses and one pair of shoes in my closet right now that fall under the "Save Mode" category. Everything was on sale, though, so is that smart shopping or I-NEED-it-(kind of)-because-it's-on-sale shopping? I don't know!!
