Gap cropped skinny jeans in white wash $59.99 on sale
I have had a lot on the brain lately; summer (yay!), getting ready to face putting on a bikini (yikes!), re-organizing my 'drobe. Also on this list, pretty close to the top actually, is getting my hands on a pair of white skinny jeans. Yes, I seem to be going a bit jean-crazy this month. Can't tell you why, but I can tell you that dreams of denim abound. Could it be the fact that I scored two fabulous pairs of jeans for $50 when I was in San Fran with my girl A a couple of weeks ago? (Remember our Lust-Have Lockdown?).
I only have one pair of white jeans and they are not the most flattering cut, nor are they so easy in the zipping-up department. I am not afriad to say it; I bought them a few years ago and they just don't fit like they used to. I like everything about this pair, but I am on the fence about the fact that they're cropped.
So, lust? Or must? It's your call.
Love, P

My Gap white jeans are also cropped and I LOVE them! I have had them for so many years I can't even remember how many-- certainly more than 10. So many, though, that they are wearing out along the felded seam and I need some new ones. These might be the ones. Mine were also purchased on sale ($24.99, I believe!) and I have worn them and worn them and worn them.
I only wear them in the summer, but even so, I get a TON of wear out of them and always get compliments on them. (Probably b/c the only jeans that really fit me well are Gap jeans.)
DEFINITELY get them-- even if you don't wear them from October to April, they will be worth it because they will last and last.
YYZ ~ How we love to hear from you! How funny that I just discovered that Gap jeans are a great fit for me too, and the sales are so great! Thanks for commenting!!!

I have to agree with YYZ.. above.. GAP jeans, are truly the jeans that fit me the best. I have spent tons of money in the past on expensive "Designer" jeans and have been sometimes disappointed with the way the fit is.. but i had to have them b/c of the name only. GAP is the way too go, for that price... you definitely cannot wrong... who cares if you cannot wear them in winter, i believe, summer clothes should be saved for summer...when the sun is shining and we could sit outdoors showing some skin.... i say GO FOR IT!!!

Yay Sabina!!!
Sometimes, as with YYZ, I can't believe how much we have in common! First the Frye boots, now Gap jeans???

P.S. I love your thoughts on summer clothes! So poetic!
I say go for it! The great thing about cropped jeans in the summer is that the length is still appropriate for work, but definitely more airy than full-length pants. I'm sure you'll get tons of mileage out of your jeans!
I categorized these as a LUST have because the skinny jean is, very much, a trend that will pass. I'm sure you already have a pair of white jeans/pants you can wear instead of buying something that, most likely, will not be in style next summer.
