Lust or Must? Topshop Rain Cape

Photobucket

I am not sure what the weather is doing where you are, but here on the East Coast (I am on mini vacay with the fam) it is pouring. Besides lots of anti-frizz hair products, what else does one need when it is both humid and raining? Well, a stylish raincoat of course! This one from Topshop is super cute, has a hood, and its "cape shape" protects you (and your handbag) from those pesky summer showers.

So what do you think? Lust or must?

Love, A

That coat says two things: CUTE! and HOTTER than heck! It would not help you to feel cooler or less sweaty-- a plastic garment is so often tempting, yet so often problematic. That said, LHR bought a great black rubberized trench in NYC a few years ago and she loves it-- it is perfect for London, where it rains a lot, but never gets too hot.

Still, if it were me, I'd probably buy the Topshop cape and then let it languish in my closet after one wearing. I am not sure the antipersperant has been made that could hold its own under that thing! But it is so cuuuuuuute!

I think if you don't already have a raincoat this one is definitely sheek and an eye catcher--why not?!

YYZ- I didn't actually take into account the humidity and the clear plastic factor!! It could be oh so sticky and kind of like being in a steam bubble. Perhaps not the most practical choice...hmm food for thought!
Thanks Lynzy, YM and Emilie for your thoughts!
