I picked these up about six weeks ago from Amazon. In part as an homage to the lovely lady G, but mostly because you all voted overwhelmingly that these are sandals are a "Must" (who knew Birks would get all y'all so fired up?)! An unbelievable 81 one of you voted (THANK YOU!!!) and Must came in at a huge 70%! It may be the biggest landslide in the history of 365 FR's "Lust or Must".
Shannon said she swears by them, YYZ said "... I can't believe I'm gonna say this but I think they might be a 'Must'!" and ShoeGal said they are "the best summer walking shoe ever!"
So, with my original lusting for this item further confirmed by all of you, I took the plunge! And I'm so glad I did. They really are just as comfortable as you said and I think they are classic and cute, all at the same time. Now that we're well into September you can probably snag a pair on sale. I can now tell you first hand; you'll be glad you did.

Yay! I'm glad you got them-- they look great! I always get tons of compliments on my toe polish when I wear mine-- could it be the juxtaposition of child-of-the-earth shoes with painted toes that surprises people? I dunno.
I did not bring mine with me to London and I am missing their comfiness-- a LOT!
