The 5 W's - Nixon Gold Watch

I am so happy to present to you this particular 5W's! For a number of reasons... 1) You have already heard enough of my search for a new timepiece. I was, at one point, desperate for the Michael Kors number and kept turning it over and over in my mind, unable to pull the trigger or even decide on a color - gold, navy, black... It was while I was flipping through my ShopStyle account that I came across this fantastic Nixon number. I love it because it has the "boyfriend" style I was looking for but it is so simple (notice the lack of numeric symbols?) and just so... gold! I had saved it to my favorites months ago and forgotten about it. I searched through ShopStyle and lo and behold, I found my gilded beauty on the Nordstrom website. Discovering that Nordstrom ships to Canada (so great, but soooo dangerous!) only added to my glee! 2) The Mater generously offered to get this baby for me for Christmas but because of the shipping, it didn't arrive until this week, which brings me to... 3) As my BFF, A wrote earlier this week, these dark days of January are ripe with some serious no-shop blues. And I suspect she and I aren't the only ones feeling this way right now. Most of us probably overspent during the holidays and are now getting the bills that only confirm those guilty feelings and tightened purse strings. Who isn't craving something shiny and new?

So, thank you Nordstrom for shipping to us fashionistas up north, thank you Nixon for making such glittering wrist candy, and an extra big thank you to The Mater for making my January a little brighter!
